Rainbow Blitz

Sunday 18 May 2008 @ 4:37 pm

URL: Download Rainblow Blitz

Rainbow BlitzRainbow Blitz is a fairly simple game. The entire gameplay is on one screen - a house flanked by two cannons which coordinate aim and discharge with a single click on the mouse button.

The objective is to protect the house from randomly falling clusters of bombs by blowing them up with the cannons. The visuals of the game are smooth and colorful while the game progresses at a relatively slow pace. You can only destroy the bombs when projectiles shot from both cannons collide in the air next to a falling bomb.

The ensuing explosion can result in detonating bombs in close proximity to the explosion. The more bombs you destroy, the higher your score climbs, and the more bombs you destroy with one coordinated shot, the more bonus points you get.

Hints, tips, cheats and Instructions:

Aim and shoot with the mouse, shoot symbols too to get more weapons

windows-xp-antispyMany of us are very wary of the information our computer is sending back to software suppliers over the internet, security issues with the software installed on our computer and scares regarding the Windows operating system.

XP-AntiSpy is a tool that enables you to configure Windows so that it doesn’t use the internet to either submit feedback or download information without your knowledge.

For instance, Windows Media Player will look to the internet for information regarding song titles and will automatically download codecs when required.

It has been reported that it might submit usage information to Microsoft, and will save usage information to your system and much more.

Of course, most of this is speculation in the same manner that some of us worry about what supermarkets do with our personal shopping information when we use our ‘loyalty card’.

Generally speaking, they do nothing apart from use the information for statistical purposes. However, this doesn’t stop us worrying about submitting that information in the first place.

XP-AntiSpy will go deep in to your Windows operating system and enable you to turn off anything that you feel you do not want reported or submitted over the internet.

iDump 26

idump ipodiDump is a godsend to iPod users who are frustrated with not having enough control over the media files on their iPods. Users of the iPod are inherently unable to copy and store music files between their iPod and different computer with iTunes. This handy iPod hack will allow users to copy songs from and iPod to a PC just as they would copy any other file.

It works for all iPod models excluding the new iPod Touch and iPhone. Users can install the iDump in three languages English, Spanish and German, and periodically check for updates.

Although there have been several shareware choices to allow you to copy songs from your iPod to your computer, the freeware field has been empty–until now.

idump ipodiDump offers a clean, spreadsheet-style layout that displays all music on your iPod. That lengthy list can be narrowed via the search function. Songs can be organized by terms as familiar as song name or artist to the more esoteric year, bit rate, or even location on the iPod. The app displays the song’s iPod path, cracking Apple’s unusual file-saving protocol. A main window tab takes you to output options, and from there you just have to choose your songs and hit Copy. Clicking once on a song selects it, and there’s also a smart feature that plays the song you’ve selected in iTunes. Clocking in at under 1MB, iDump is small enough to live on your iPod. We’ll let you figure out why that’s a good thing.

iDump does have some stability problems, and it doesn’t automatically import backed-up songs into iTunes once they’ve been copied to your hard drive, a definite drawback. Those are small quibbles, though, compared to what you get for free.
